Before we have to create our own film intro later in the year to be graded by Cambridge our teacher told us to create a practice film intro. We could choose to get into groups of up to 3 or do it individually which is the route that I choose. Now to prepare for the filming of this intro we would have to brainstorm, what would it be about, where we would film it, who would be the actors, what equipment would be used to film it, etc.
The story would then be made into a storyboard. What is a storyboard you may ask well - A storyboard is a sequence of drawings, with directions and possible some dialogue representing the shots planned for a movie or television production.
What I learned while brainstorming this intro was that it takes much clear understanding of what you are going to film before you film it. This is definitely not a process you could skip and go into filming blindly without figuring out what you will need or do as then everything will be much harder than it has to be.
